Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Will Suffer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hans Staartjes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Will Suffer has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Will Suffer seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Ren Mimura and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Staartjes fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Suffer looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Staartjes tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Suffer swivels and escapes.
Suffer is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Suffer fails with the takedown
and Staartjes counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Suffer working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Staartjes doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Staartjes manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Suffer knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Staartjes on the ground.
Staartjes wants to stand but Suffer is controlling his posture from full guard.
Staartjes stands up and waves to Suffer to follow him.

Staartjes gets the takedown into side control.
Staartjes is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Suffer is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Suffer is looking for a sweep.
Staartjes controlling the position.
Staartjes wants to lay and pray for a moment but Suffer keeps working.

Staartjes scores with punches from side control.
Staartjes decides to stand up, so the ref orders Suffer to his feet.
Staartjes scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Suffer wants to control but Staartjes postures up.
Suffer is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Suffer is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Suffer is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Staartjes trying to control the action but Suffer is working from the bottom.
Staartjes decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Suffer shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Staartjes's guard.
Staartjes bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Suffer's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round.

Suffer has momentary wrist control but Staartjes slips an elbow through the middle.

Suffer keeping moving, preventing Staartjes from controlling successfully.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Staartjes decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Staartjes shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Suffer counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Staartjes's guard now.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Hans Staartjes dominated that round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Staartjes fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Staartjes fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Staartjes doesn't manage to clinch there - Suffer circles away.
Suffer shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Suffer wants to control from the top but Staartjes keeps moving.
Staartjes throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Staartjes is looking for a triangle but Suffer pushes his legs off easily.
Staartjes is looking to sinch up a triangle. Suffer throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Staartjes's body to avoid the submission. Staartjes has instead reached around Suffer's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Staartjes arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
