Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jedi Knight (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damian Rentz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Knight might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Why Can't We be Friends. Damian Rentz told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Konstantin Menshow and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rentz with a lazy takedown attempt
and Knight counters by moving into the clinch.
Rentz tries to pull guard but Knight forces him back to his feet, against the ropes.
Knight can't find room to land a body shot as Rentz controls the action.
Rentz has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Knight avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Jedi Knight has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Damian Rentz.
Knight has Rentz pressed up against the ropes. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Knight pulls back from the ropes and twists to the side, sending Rentz tumbling to the mat - Knight dives into Rentz's guard.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Knight takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Knight here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Knight cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Rentz in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
Knight unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Rentz wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Knight celebrates on the ropes and the crowd goes wild!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:37 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jedi Knight!
After winning the bout, Jedi Knight thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
