Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Edward Wong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mac Husky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Edward Wong! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mac Husky! The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Summer Carpenter and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wong shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Husky as he jumps to the side. Wong shoots in but Husky avoids the takedown attempt easily. Husky rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Wong moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Wong gets a takedown into half guard. Wong is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Wong really is a fat lump. Husky manages to get to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wong sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Husky's guard. Husky wants to control but Wong is keeping busy.
Wong is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Husky defends it well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Husky is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Husky keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount. Husky is trying to control but can't.
Wong is working for a kimura but Husky is defending it quite comfortably.
Husky moves into full guard.
Wong drops back looking for a leg! Husky is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Husky manages to kick Wong off! Wong jumps back into Husky's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Wong stands and throws Husky's legs to the side, diving into side control. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Husky is looking for a sweep. Wong working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Husky is trying to control Wong's posture but Wong avoids it. Wong working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Wong tries to advance to mount but Husky denies him. Wong in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wong has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Husky is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Wong yanks on the arm and Husky is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Wong.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Edward Wong!
