The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones clinches up against the cage.
Swanson pulls guard successfully.
Jones is pushing down on Swanson's leg trying to pass to half guard. Swanson is fighting to maintain full guard but Jones has managed to sneak the leg through.
Jones wants to control but Swanson is keeping him busy.
Swanson is defending against the submission attempts here by Jones.
Jones is looking to take a break and control but Swanson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Swanson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jones. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
