Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tenzu Mazuke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Juan Diadante (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Tenzu Mazuke!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Eliza Hachem and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diadante misses with a combination
and Mazuke counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Diadante's guard now.
Mazuke throwing strikes from guard but Diadante blocks nicely.
Mazuke makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Mazuke accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Diadante does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Mazuke shoots in for a takedown but Diadante shows good takedown defense.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Juan Diadante wasn't active enough on the ground.
Diadante thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Mazuke if he has to take too many more of those.

Mazuke throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Diadante's waist but Diadante gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Mazuke off to one side.

Diadante lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Mazuke shoots for a takedown but Diadante saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

That was a close round but I would say that Tenzu Mazuke will probably get the nod.

Diadante thows a body shot but no joy.
Diadante looks for the body kick but Mazuke saw that one coming.

Diadante feints and then cracks Mazuke's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Mazuke down.
Diadante throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Mazuke chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Diadante can pounce on him.

Mazuke is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
