The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams dives in and grabs Guttierez's left leg, looking for a takedown. Guttierez pushes down on Williams's head and hops out.

Williams drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Williams controls the position.
Guttierez is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Williams wants to lay and pray for a moment but Guttierez keeps working.
Guttierez gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
Williams tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
