Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mikhail Androv (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and In Jin Tanaka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as In Jin Tanaka enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mikhail Androv!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, In Jin Tanaka!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Ren Mimura and Shigeki Fujiwara.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tanaka drives through with a takedown into guard.
Androv manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Tanaka manages to get himself to full guard.

Tanaka had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Androv is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Tanaka Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Androv's back instead.

Androv turns into Tanaka and is now in his guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

and Androv counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Androv not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Tanaka wants to sweep here but Androv controlling him for the moment.

Androv is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Tanaka is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Tanaka has escaped and now he's on top!
Tanaka must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Tanaka wants to break free but Androv has control.

Tanaka gets underhooks to prevent Androv's takedown attempt.
In Jin Tanaka has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Androv's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Androv jumps guard but Tanaka stands there with Androv around his waist. Androv gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Mikhail Androv.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Androv, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
