Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hideo Koyama! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 16 - 2, fighting out of Tokyo, Kotaro Fuma! The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yukihiro Shimada and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A looping hook to the body misses from Koyama. Fuma does a little dance to reset his feet. Fuma looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Koyama lunges at Fuma with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Fuma's hand. Koyama with a hook. A decent looking cross lands there for Koyama. Koyama connects with a single shot there. Koyama stuns Fuma with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Fuma takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Hideo Koyama is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sloppy strikes from Koyama. Those never looked like landing. A punch combination from Fuma misses. Koyama with a nice cross. Good leg kick by Koyama there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Koyama scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Koyama throws a head kick that misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fuma gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Koyama looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Kotaro Fuma seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Koyama throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Fuma takes one on the chin but seems OK.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Koyama slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Koyama scores with a body shot.

Koyama works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Koyama fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Fuma takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Fuma has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Koyama connects with a body shot. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Koyama connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Fuma's hands. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Hideo Koyama dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Fuma takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Koyama with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Fuma takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. A shot to the liver by Koyama. Beautiful body shot. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Koyama misses with a body kick. Fuma walks into a stiff left hand from Koyama. Fuma is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Left hook, right uppercut from Koyama.
Fuma is rocked! Koyama drops Fuma with a huge uppercut! Fuma drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Koyama is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
