Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Qwertal Schizo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Ryu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jason Ryu has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Qwertal Schizo's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Qwertal Schizo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jason Ryu! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Shirou Masuda and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ryu clinches. Schizo looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Schizo is trying to break free. Ryu holding his opponent close, against the cage.
A short body shot lands from Schizo as the two fighters clinch.
Ryu is trying to trip Schizo. He has hold of a leg but Schizo is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Ryu persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Ryu with a nice head shot there. Ryu decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Ryu closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Ryu lands in his opponent's guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Ryu is stalling in the full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ryu gets to his feet - Schizo follows without any prompting. Ryu takes the fight into the clinch. Schizo gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Ryu.
Schizo misses with a hook to the ribs.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ryu tries for a takedown but Schizo manages to get underhooks.
Ryu has hold of one of Schizo's legs. Schizo is fighting the takedown attempt but Ryu gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Ryu makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Schizo is working an open guard so Ryu takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Schizo gets caught napping as Ryu dives in and scores a takedown. Schizo manages to retain guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Ryu stopping the sweep attempt from Schizo. Ryu postures up and lands a big shot to Schizo's brow.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ryu stays in close to Schizo's body and controls the position.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Jason Ryu. Ryu drives through and clinches with Schizo against the cage.
Ryu has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Schizo is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Qwertal Schizo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jason Ryu. Ryu wants the takedown. Schizo is fighting it off but Ryu persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Schizo's guard against the cage. Ryu controls from within his opponent's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ryu makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Ryu's corner is telling him to maintain position. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Jason Ryu. Ryu shoots in and gets a takedown into Schizo's guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Ryu controls from within his opponent's guard. Ryu stands and throws Schizo's legs to the side, diving into side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jason Ryu dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Ryu shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Schizo manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Ryu controlling from the top position. Ryu is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Ryu controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Ryu trying to control but Schizo is working from the bottom. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Ryu is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Schizo knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ryu on the ground.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Jason Ryu. Ryu closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Ryu lands in his opponent's guard. Ryu pushes down on Schizo's leg and manages to get into half guard. Ryu passes the guard and advances to mount!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ryu putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Ryu stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing. Ryu misses with a straight right. Ryu throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Ryu tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Schizo swivels and escapes. Ryu shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Schizo is trying to defend but Ryu finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Ryu is trying to control the action in half guard but Schizo is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ryu working over Schizo with some ground and pound. Schizo looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Ryu seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Ryu looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Ryu stands up and beckons Schizo to join him on the feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jason Ryu showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! And we move into the final round!
Ryu misses with a two punch combination.
Schizo fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Ryu is out of range. Ryu decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Ryu working over Schizo with some ground and pound. Schizo looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ryu passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Schizo! Ryu sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Ryu with the ground and pound from mount. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ryu moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Schizo has worked his arm free - good work by Schizo!
Ryu is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Schizo's shoulder. That is not cool. Ryu connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Schizo some visible discomfort.
Schizo is not content to let Ryu control the position. Ryu working the head and body with strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Schizo tries to buck Ryu off but Ryu is having none of it. Ryu has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Ryu lands a nice looking body shot.
Ryu drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Ryu passes easily into side control. Nice work. Ryu is staying tight to Schizo's torso, preventing him from escaping.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ryu stands up and we're back to a striking position. Ryu fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Schizo manages to avoid it. Ryu looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Schizo! Ryu content just to control the position here. Ryu can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Schizo is looking to escape.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ryu fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Ryu jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Schizo manages to avoid the submission attempt. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Schizo is being controlled here.
And that's the end of the fight! Jason Ryu comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Ryu has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
