Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between John Cena (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roger Spackman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cena comes to the cage accompanied by Booty Work. Roger Spackman has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with John Cena's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, John Cena! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Roger Spackman! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cena throws a head kick but Spackman moves out of range.
Spackman is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Cena will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Spackman pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Cena looks to land a combination but Spackman avoids it well. Spackman gets caught flat footed, as Cena shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Spackman is looking to stand up but Cena isn't so interested in that idea. Spackman not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Cena stopping the sweep attempt from Spackman. Cena wants to stand and escape but instead Spackman has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Spackman engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Spackman trying to control but Cena is working from the bottom. Spackman sitting in guard, not really doing much.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Roger Spackman. Cena wants to clinch up but Spackman keeps it at a distance. Cena avoids the head kick by Spackman.
Spackman feints and as Cena raises his hands in defense, Spackman changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Spackman working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Cena keeping moving, preventing Spackman from controlling successfully. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Spackman pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Cena is keeping the position for now.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Roger Spackman. Cena tries to clinch up but Spackman circles away and keeps his distance. Spackman delivers a nice body kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Spackman doesn't manage to clinch there - Cena circles away.
Spackman shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Spackman is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Cena! Spackman trying to control but he's not successful this time. Spackman is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Cena to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Cena shrugs it off. Spackman controlling from the full mount. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Spackman landing strikes, looking to finish!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Spackman trying to control but Cena is having none of it. Spackman is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Cena has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Spackman content just to control the position here. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Spackman looking to finish Cena with some ground and pound. This is bad for Cena! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Roger Spackman dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
No luck for Spackman with that takedown attempt. Cena tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Spackman paws at him with a jab and circles away. Spackman keeps the fight on the outside. Spackman has closed the distance and engaged Cena in a clinch.
Spackman is trying to break free. Cena wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Spackman has him pressed against the cage. Spackman managing to block the knees to the body from Cena.
Spackman slowing the pace effectively. Spackman has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Cena clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Spackman doesn't have the hooks in and Cena manages to turn into his guard.

Spackman looking to hit a scissor sweep but Cena is one step ahead there. Spackman being controlled here, momentarily. Spackman not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

We're going to have a standup here because John Cena wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Cena changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Spackman tries to avoid it but Cena manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Spackman to the ground. Spackman escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Spackman fails with the takedown. Spackman rushes Cena and presses him up against the cage. Cena misses with some punches.
Spackman is stalling here.
Spackman is trying to break the clinch but Cena is controlling him. Cena fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Spackman using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Cena has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Spackman looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Spackman has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Cena clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Cena breaks Spackman's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Cena working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Cena won't allow Spackman to sweep him here. Spackman is pulling down on Cena's head to control his posture. Spackman escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Cena gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Cena wants to stand but Spackman has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Spackman is looking for a triangle but Cena pushes his legs off easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Spackman is controlling Cena's posture. Cena really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Cena postures up.
Spackman is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Cena throws a strike but Spackman rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Roger Spackman has got the better of the ground game so far. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Spackman is looking to stand up but Cena won't let him. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Roger Spackman showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

John Cena has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Cena throws a body kick, spinning off balance so Spackman counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Spackman postures up in Cena's guard and throws a big left but Cena blocks it. Spackman stays in close to Cena's body and controls the position. Spackman is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Cena is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Cena has escaped and now he's on top! Spackman is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Cena trying to control but Spackman is working from the bottom. Spackman looking for a sweep. Not yet Spackman, not yet. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Cena trying to control the position from guard on top but Spackman is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Cena gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Spackman counters with a one-two to the body. Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Cena sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Spackman tries to clinch there but Cena circles away.
Spackman gets in close and instigates a clinch. Cena prevents the takedown attempt.
Spackman is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Cena is defending well. Cena breaks from the clinch.
Spackman wants to clinch. Cena walks into a left hand.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Spackman shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Cena napping and manages to drive through into side control! Spackman prevents Cena from escaping the position. Spackman working the head and body with strikes. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Cena manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Cena is thwarting Spackman's attempts to control the position. Cena is looking to take a break and control but Spackman is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Spackman tries to roll over but Cena keeps him under control. John Cena has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Roger Spackman is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Spackman makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Spackman.
And that's the end of the fight! Roger Spackman comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Spackman has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
