Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tony Chopper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ray King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ray King has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Tony Chopper's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tony Chopper! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ray King! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Yves DeLean and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! King misses with a hook. Chopper misses with a leg kick and King counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Chopper shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as King sprawls well. King wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Chopper gets slowly back to his feet. Chopper ducks down and throws a hook to the body but King moves away. Chopper looks to score with a jab to the body but King is just out of range. King tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Chopper was well out of range. Poor timing from King. King throws a body punch but Chopper moves out of range. Chopper dives in and grabs King's left leg, looking for a takedown. King pushes down on Chopper's head and hops out.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chopper takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Ray King is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. King cracks Chopper with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Chopper looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can King finish him?
Chopper is rocked! This has been an exciting period of action! King lands a nice looking body shot.
Oh Chopper is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Chopper takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Chopper seems to have got his legs back now. King gets caught napping as Chopper dives in and scores a takedown. King manages to retain guard. King wants to stand up but Chopper is controlling him. Chopper connects with a couple of short punches. King is trying to control the position but Chopper postures up. King pulls Chopper in close to his closed guard and prevents Chopper from doing any damage or advancing position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Chopper postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Chopper postures up and lands a big shot to King's brow. King is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. King utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Chopper is looking to work some ground and pound but King has wrist control. Chopper is looking to work some ground and pound but King has wrist control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Chopper scoring with punches to the head and body. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as King holds on and takes a little breather. Chopper has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. King wants to get back to his feet but Chopper is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. King uses the cage to get back to his feet.
A looping hook to the body misses from King. Chopper does a little dance to reset his feet. Chopper misses with a leg kick and King counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. King leaves Chopper with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tony Chopper. That's going to take a lot out of him. Chopper shoots in for a takedown but King shows good takedown defense.
That's four minutes gone in the round. King throws a right and a left that Chopper avoids nicely. King scores with a jab. Chopper acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Chopper misses with a low kick. King throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Chopper takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. King throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! King checks the leg kick nicely there.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ray King dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
King lands a body shot.
Chopper takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Chopper looks to land a left hand but King moved out of range nicely. Today's fight clock is brought to you by... OOOH that's a huge shot by King! Chopper is in big trouble here - the ref steps in to save him and this one is all over!
