The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ryukenchan avoids the head kick by Patuljak.

Ryukenchan drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Patuljak will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Patuljak is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Ryukenchan working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Patuljak's head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ryukenchan working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Patuljak looking to control but Ryukenchan passes into half guard.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Ryukenchan connects with a nice short shot to Patuljak's temple.
Patuljak has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Ryukenchan is working away from the top position though.

Patuljak strikes from the bottom but Ryukenchan uses the opportunity to move to side control.

Patuljak is rocked!

Ryukenchan has hold of Patuljak's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Patuljak seems comfortable defending it but Ryukenchan has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Patuljak is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Patuljak is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Ryukenchan couldn't care less - he's delighted!
