Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, James Ackerman and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
guy stuffs the takedown attempt from sax. sax gets slowly back to his feet.
guy feints and as sax raises his hands in defense, guy changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
sax avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
guy is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
sax controls guy momentarily but guy frees himself.
guy looking to pass the guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round.
sax escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. guy gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
sax wants to improve his position but instead guy has moved into half guard.
sax wants to stand back up but guy manages to pass into side control.
sax is trying to control guy's posture but guy avoids it.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
A lull in the action here.
guy's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

guy in side control, just content to control the action for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
guy tries to move to mount but sax blocks the move with his legs.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
sax throws a couple of punches but he's in a bad position and they don't land.
sax struggling a bit here.
sax is looking for a sweep.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
guy controls the position from side control.
sax tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but guy presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

and sax counters with a nice double leg into guard.
guy wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
sax must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
sax wants to stand and escape but instead guy has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
guy controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

guy gets to mount! sax was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.

The referee stands the fighters back up. sumyoun guy just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
sax misses with a takedown attempt
and guy holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
sax is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
guy stops a takedown attempt from sax.
sax is breathing heavily.
sax wants to break free but guy has control.
sax tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. guy smiles and moves away.
sumyoun guy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of jacob sax.

so guy counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
guy is stalling in the full guard.

guy landing some decent shots from guard.
sax not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
guy is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
guy throws a solid leg kick but sax takes the impact on his shin and smiles at guy.
guy looking for a takedown here - he's got it.

sax is looking to sweep but instead, guy has passed into half guard.
guy passes to side control.

guy sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
guy prevents sax from getting the reversal.
sax takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
sax is in all sorts of trouble here.
guy controlling the pace for now.
sax tries to hold on but guy pushes him away.

sax is in a horrible position here. guy smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

sax can't escape the position.
guy lands a big shot there that rocks sax but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, guy cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
sumyoun guy overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

sax keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
guy controlling his opponent.
guy seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down sax for as long as he can get away with.
jacob sax has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Well guy has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
