Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mark Mellendrez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and El Camino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Camino has chosen Avicii - Levels in Reverse as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that El Camino was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mark Mellendrez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, El Camino! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mellendrez just misses with a punch to the body.

and Camino moves into the clinch. Camino with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Camino misses with a knee strike.
Mellendrez avoiding damage as Camino throws knees to the body.
Mellendrez is trying to maintain a safe position but Camino gets an underhook and turns Mellendrez into the cage. Mellendrez tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Camino smiles and moves away.
Mellendrez throws a right and a left that Camino avoids nicely. Camino scores a takedown into full mount! Camino prevents Mellendrez from getting the reversal.
That's one minute gone in the round. Camino controlling from the full mount. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mellendrez tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Camino controlling from the full mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mellendrez is trying to escape the mount.
Mellendrez regains half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mellendrez looks like he's trying to stand up.
El Camino has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Mellendrez throws a leg kick and Camino counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Camino perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. It looks like Camino might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Mellendrez is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by El Camino. Mellendrez misses with a two punch combination.
Camino drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Mellendrez tries to bench press Camino off him but Camino keeps the position. Camino decides to stand back up. Mellendrez throws a hook but Camino blocks it. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Camino gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Camino tries to land knees in the clinch but Mellendrez avoids the damage to the body. Mellendrez looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
El Camino dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Camino has taken the fight to the clinch.
Mellendrez has Camino pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Mellendrez pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Camino tumbling to the mat - Mellendrez dives into Camino's guard. Mellendrez is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Camino is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Camino has escaped and now he's on top! Mellendrez working for submissions but it's allowed Camino to get to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mellendrez has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Camino. Oh but Mellendrez has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Camino goes limp - he's gone! Mellendrez jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
