Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between John Markson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Crash Bandicoot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bandicoot has chosen Crash Bandicoot: Jungle Rollers Remix as his entrance music. Crash Bandicoot has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, John Markson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
15 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Crash Bandicoot! The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bandicoot pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Bandicoot takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Bandicoot misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Bandicoot tries to clinch but Markson moves out of range. Bandicoot fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Markson lands with a good body shot. Bandicoot tries to clinch but Markson is having none of it. Markson throws a shot to the body.
Bandicoot rushes Markson and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Markson is pushing Bandicoot up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Bandicoot tries to land a knee to the head but Markson blocks with his arms.
Bandicoot pulls guard successfully.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Markson avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Bandicoot is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Markson defends well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bandicoot is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Bandicoot has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Markson is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Bandicoot. Bandicoot wants to control but Markson postures up. Bandicoot is looking to regain half guard here but Markson keeps moving and retains side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Markson content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Bandicoot is trying to get back to half guard. A lull in the action here as Markson stalls from top position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bandicoot tries to strike from the bottom but misses. Markson wants to control but Bandicoot is keeping him busy. Bandicoot manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Bandicoot wants to control but Markson is keeping him busy. Bandicoot stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. Bandicoot takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Markson throws a right hand that Bandicoot ducks under and follows up with a left that Bandicoot also avoids with ease.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Markson cracks Bandicoot with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
It looks like Crash Bandicoot has been cut. John Markson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Bandicoot is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Markson misses with a double jab.
A punch combination from Markson misses. Bandicoot scores a takedown into full mount! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Bandicoot controlling from the full mount. Bandicoot jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Markson is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Markson and Bandicoot has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Bandicoot thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Crash Bandicoot will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Crash Bandicoot's cut. That's time! Markson's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Markson feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Bandicoot's calf. Crash Bandicoot seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bandicoot is looking to clinch. Bandicoot with a poor takedown letting Markson counter with a right hand. Bandicoot looks to clinch and Markson counters with a stiff right hand. Markson lands a front kick. John Markson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Bandicoot takes a body punch but keeps moving. Markson lands a jab to the nose. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Bandicoot takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. A solid body kick from Markson. Bandicoot takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Bandicoot on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Markson. Markson obviously looking to wear him down.
Bandicoot walks forward, straight into a front kick from Markson. Bandicoot is breathing heavily. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Markson, right into the meat.
Markson lands a left and a right that send Bandicoot crashing to the mat, dazed. Markson thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Bandicoot is rocked! Markson shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Bandicoot eats them both and turns towards Markson to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Bandicoot is still on wobbly legs! Can Markson finish him?
That has opened up Crash Bandicoot's cut even more.
That's one minute gone in the round. Markson fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Bandicoot. Markson drops Bandicoot with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Bandicoot looks back up at him and smiles so Markson waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Bandicoot ducks into an uppercut from Markson and that's knocked him out cold! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:12 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). John Markson! After winning the bout, John Markson thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
