Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jose Jesus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Travis Lirette (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lirette is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Hear Me Now. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Travis Lirette was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lirette misses with a few strikes there.
Jesus waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Lirette. Lirette avoids the body shot from Jesus.
Lirette tries to clinch but Jesus is having none of it. Jesus fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Lirette sprawls well initially but Jesus persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Jesus is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Lirette has managed to free his arm - good work. Jesus is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Lirette looks like he's trying to stand up.
Lirette wants to get back to full guard but Jesus has passed into side control. Lirette struggling a bit here. Lirette is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
