Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 11 - 0, fighting out of London, Peter Walter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 12 - 0, fighting out of London, DepaC Pakamara!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Richard Clark and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walter closes the distance looking to clinch

and Pakamara counters with a nice double leg into guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Pakamara throws a strike but Walter rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Walter stands and steps away. Pakamara gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Walter tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Pakamara avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Walter throws a series of punches but Pakamara avoids them all with ease.

Walter wants to clinch up but Pakamara keeps it at a distance.

Walter scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Pakamara doesn't seem bothered though.

Walter rushes Pakamara and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Pakamara throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Walter was covering up waiting for the punch and Pakamara finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Pakamara lands a couple of digs.
Walter is looking to stand up but Pakamara isn't so interested in that idea.
Pakamara sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Walter's guard.
Pakamara thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Walter pushes Pakamara off looking to stand but Pakamara dives back in and keeps control.

Pakamara tries to pass the half guard into mount. Walter knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Pakamara passes the guard and advances to mount!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Pakamara has hold of Walter's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Walter manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Walter somehow manages to escape the mount and get back to his feet!
Walter throws a sloppy head kick and Pakamara moves out of range easily.

Walter swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Walter fails in his attempt to clinch.
Peter Walter is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Pakamara gets the takedown into side control.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Walter is pushing Pakamara's head away, looking to escape. Pakamara manages to hold on to the position though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pakamara misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Walter wants to get back to his feet but Pakamara drags him back down.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Pakamara scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Walter to see if he's OK.
Walter takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

DepaC Pakamara dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


Walter throws a head kick that misses.
Walter misses with the combination.
Some wild striking there from Pakamara.
Walter lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Walter pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Walter rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Pakamara moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Walter doesn't manage to clinch there - Pakamara circles away.
Pakamara uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Walter.
Walter tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Pakamara manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Pakamara cracks a nice hook into Walter's ribs.
Pakamara moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Pakamara blocks a head kick by Walter.
Walter doesn't manage to clinch there - Pakamara circles away.
Pakamara shoots for a double leg takedown but Walter sprawls well. He's pushed Pakamara's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Walter tries to close the distance and clinch up but Pakamara swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Walter wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Pakamara tries to advance to mount but can't.

You get the feeling that Walter really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Walter in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
Pakamara lands with some strikes.
Pakamara is in the full mount, landing strikes.
The referee warns Walter that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Pakamara lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Walter hang on?


Walter is rocked!

Pakamara connects with a bit shot that sees Walter covering up! More strikes from Pakamara and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Pakamara is our winner by TKO!
