Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ubijam Bato (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Dunn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ubijam Bato! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Michael Dunn! The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Colin Fray and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bato avoids the body shot from Dunn.
Bato looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Bato wants to pass the guard but Dunn is defending well. Bato trying to control the pace. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bato looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Dunn with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Dunn is trying to stand back up but Bato is controlling him
Bato is pressing down on Dunn's thigh, looking to free his foot. Dunn is holding on for now. Dunn really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bato. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bato is controlling the pace.

Ubijam Bato has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Dunn fails in his attempt to clinch. A head kick misses from Bato. Bato throws a nice looking combination but Dunn bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Bato throws a body kick that misses. Dunn misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Michael Dunn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dunn tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Bato paws at him with a jab and circles away. Dunn uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Bato. Michael Dunn is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Dunn swats away the attempt to clinch by Bato. Dunn feints a jab promting Bato to slip. Dunn then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Bato slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Bato is rocked! Bato throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Bato really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Bato takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Dunn takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Bato takes the fight into the clinch. Bato keeps control of Dunn as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Bato is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Dunn gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Bato breaks the clinch.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Dunn tries to clinch but Bato is having none of it. Dunn works over Bato's head and body with a nice combination. Bato decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Bato in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Dunn tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Bato!
