Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Franklin Mint (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Trigg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Trigg is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Mama Said Knock You Out. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Franklin Mint! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Frank Trigg! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Daniel Franklin and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Trigg clinches up against the cage. A short right hand to the side of the head by Trigg. Trigg turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Trigg manages to end up in side control. Trigg working away. Trigg trying to control the position but Mint is working away. Mint prevents Trigg from improving position. Mint can't do much from the bottom here. Trigg wants to lay and pray for a moment but Mint keeps working. Trigg working the ground and pound from side control. Mint is breathing heavily. Trigg cracks Mint with a big elbow. Trigg wants to lay and pray for a moment but Mint keeps working.
That's one minute gone in the round. Trigg throws a strike aimed at the side of Mint's head but Mint avoids it well. You can see the frustration on Mint's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Trigg in side control lands a decent elbow. Trigg wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Mint, who protects the arm well. Trigg working the ground and pound.
Mint is rocked! Trigg working the ground and pound. Oh Mint is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mint can't do much from the bottom here. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Trigg thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Mint seems to have got his legs back now. Trigg working the ground and pound from side control. Mint is not content to let Trigg control the position. Trigg throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Mint is trying to improve his position. Mint wants to control but Trigg postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Trigg closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Mint to the mat! Mint manages to get full guard. Trigg controls from within his opponent's guard. Mint working a defensive guard here.
Trigg tries to free his leg and advance position but Mint is retaining full guard. Trigg drops back, looking for a kneebar! Mint looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Mint looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Mint! Trigg can't do much from the bottom here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Trigg tries to buck Mint off but Mint is having none of it. Trigg is pushing Mint's head away, looking to escape. Mint manages to hold on to the position though. Mint working away. Trigg is trying to improve his position. Trigg is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Trigg is not content to let Mint control the position. Mint working away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Frank Trigg dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Mint explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Trigg tries for a takedown but Mint sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Mint throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Trigg keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Trigg shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Mint decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Trigg's guard. Trigg wants to sweep here but Mint controlling him for the moment. Mint trying to control but Trigg is working from the bottom. Trigg looking for a guillotine here but Mint defends easily.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Mint wants to control from the top but Trigg keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mint postures up.
Mint lands a couple of elbows. Mint preventing the sweep. Trigg working a defensive guard here.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Mint swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Trigg misses with a takedown attempt so Mint counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Franklin Mint has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Frank Trigg. Trigg wants to get back to his feet but Mint is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mint not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Trigg looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Trigg controlling the position. Mint controlling from the top position. Mint working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Trigg's head. Trigg has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Mint can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Trigg really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mint. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Trigg looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Mint puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Trigg tries to roll over but Mint keeps him under control. It looks like Mint is going to stand back up.
Mint seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Trigg does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Mint throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Trigg wants to improve his position but Mint is controlling well.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Mint with a poor takedown and Trigg counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Trigg.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Trigg passes easily into side control. Nice work. Trigg tries to move to mount but Mint blocks the move with his legs. Trigg stands up and beckons Mint to his feet. Trigg has his takedown stuffed and Mint counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Mint is looking to break free of the clinch but Trigg has double underhooks. Trigg managing to block the knees to the body from Mint.
Mint fails to pull guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Mint tries to score a body lock takedown but Trigg shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Mint fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Trigg decides to pull guard. Trigg looking to sweep here. No luck so far. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Franklin Mint dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Trigg decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Mint trying to control here.
Mint on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Mint is refusing to be controlled, as Trigg sits in half guard. Trigg trying to advance position but Mint counters by regaining guard. Trigg throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Mint works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Trigg trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Mint uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mint scores with a leg kick.
Mint wants to clinch and Trigg counters with a nice double leg into guard. Trigg passes Mint's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Trigg is trying to control the action in half guard but Mint is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Mint makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Mint. Mint is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Trigg is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Trigg stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mint swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Trigg thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Mint controls Trigg momentarily but Trigg frees himself.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Trigg fails to land the takedown. The fight moves into the clinch position.

Mint throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Trigg shoots in and drives through. Mint sprawls well. Mint gets caught flat footed, as Trigg shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Mint has his hands on Trigg's head, controlling the position. Trigg with a nice head shot there. Trigg connects with a couple of short punches. Trigg controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Trigg pushes down on Mint's leg and manages to get into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Trigg working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. And that's the end of the fight! Frank Trigg comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Trigg has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
