Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Cristiano Ronaldo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cray Vasil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cristiano Ronaldo had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 172.0lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. The key to victory for Cristiano Ronaldo has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Cristiano Ronaldo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Cray Vasil!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ronaldo throws the kick towards the body but Vasil avoids it.
Ronaldo throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Vasil.
Ronaldo tries to clinch but Vasil is having none of it.
Ronaldo forces Vasil back against the cage and clinches.
Ronaldo drops down looking for an ankle pick but Vasil pulls his leg out and moves away.
Vasil blocks a head kick by Ronaldo.
Vasil shoots in but Ronaldo avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Vasil tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Ronaldo on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Ronaldo is breathing heavily.
Ronaldo gets caught flat footed, as Vasil shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Vasil slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Vasil's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Cray Vasil has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Vasil looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Ronaldo!
Vasil is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Ronaldo has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Vasil is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Ronaldo is surviving well by controlling Vasil's body position as best he can.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ronaldo really wants to buck Vasil off and get back to his feet.
Vasil sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Vasil pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Vasil jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Ronaldo manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Ronaldo is trying to get back to his feet.
Vasil is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Ronaldo is trying to escape and Vasil transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Ronaldo is forced to tap! Nice work there by Vasil! Very nice indeed!
