Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tim Ernst (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcel Martin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ernst's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FjVvhDwFnJk. Martin has chosen RAWR as his entrance music. Tim Ernst has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 11 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tim Ernst!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Marcel Martin!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Russell Pearce and Anthony Taglia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ernst keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Ernst avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Ernst throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Ernst moves out of range as Martin throws a body kick.
Ernst blocks a head kick by Martin.
Ernst scores with a sloppy right hand. Martin should have avoided that one.
Ernst throws a looping overhand right but Martin ducks down to avoid it.
Ernst lands a nice shot to the body.
Martin tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Ernst paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Ernst thuds his right hand into Martin's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Ernst throws out a loose jab but Martin uses good head movement to avoid it.

Ernst looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Ernst missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Ernst accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ernst is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Ernst prevents Martin from getting back to his feet.
Ernst throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Martin works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Martin can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Ernst controls the pace.
Ernst trying to control the position from guard on top but Martin is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Ernst controls from within his opponent's guard.

Tim Ernst has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Martin takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Ernst thuds his right hand into Martin's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Ernst fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Ernst jabs at Martin's body.
Martin throws a head kick but Ernst moves out of range.
Martin displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Ernst.
Martin dodges the punch combination from Ernst.
Martin blocks a jab.

Ernst waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Martin.
Ernst uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Martin.

Martin is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Ernst pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Martin is still on wobbly legs! Can Ernst finish him?
Look low, kick high! Ernst uses the oldest trick in the book to send Martin tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Ernst is absolutely delighted - when Martin wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!

Tim Ernst decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
