Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Doug Hoo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trent Browster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Doug Hoo had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 266.4lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hoo changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Browster looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Browster is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Browster tries to bench press Hoo off him but Hoo keeps the position.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Browster can do anything to dispel that myth.
Browster is working to avoid the ground and pound but Hoo connects with a decent elbow.
Hoo scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Browster to see if he's OK.
Browster is not content to let Hoo control the position.
Browster is looking for a sweep.
Hoo wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Browster, who protects the arm well.
Browster takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Hoo wants to control but Browster is keeping him busy.
Hoo advances nicely into full mount.

Browster tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Browster tries to reverse the position but Hoo maintains control.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Hoo cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Browster really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hoo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Hoo lands a big shot there that rocks Browster but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Browster flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.

Hoo unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Browster wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Hoo celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
