Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Steve Rogers!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jorge Lesnar!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Tiny Johnson and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lesnar throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Lesnar changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rogers tries to avoid it but Lesnar manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rogers to the ground. Rogers escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Lesnar darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Lesnar shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Rogers closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Lesnar to the mat! Lesnar manages to get full guard.
Lesnar really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rogers. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Rogers gets to his feet. Lesnar looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Lesnar misses with a takedown

and Rogers counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Steve Rogers has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jorge Lesnar.
Lesnar tries to break the clinch but Rogers is controlling the position.

Rogers escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

and Rogers counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Rogers stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Lesnar to get to his feet.
Lesnar throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Rogers counters with a single leg into guard. Lesnar didn't expect that.
Lesnar looks gassed!

Rogers gets to his feet. Lesnar looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

and Rogers counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Rogers scores with a nice hook to the head.
Rogers lands a right hand that snaps the head of Lesnar backwards.
A nice right hand lands inside from Rogers.
Rogers lands with a light punch inside.
Rogers lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Lesnar.
Rogers lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Lesnar wants a takedown.
Lesnar tries to pull guard but Rogers won't allow it.
Lesnar tries to score a body lock takedown but Rogers shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Rogers is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Lesnar is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Lesnar is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Still in the clinch, Rogers scores with a nice short uppercut.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Rogers.
Lesnar is looking to break free of the clinch but Rogers has double underhooks.

Rogers breaks from the clinch.
Lesnar misses the body punch

and Rogers counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Rogers.
Rogers trying to control the position from guard on top but Lesnar is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Rogers decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Lesnar, up you get!

Rogers works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

Rogers escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Rogers rushes Lesnar and presses him up against the cage.

Rogers gets to his feet - Lesnar follows without any prompting.

Lesnar looking for a sweep. Not yet Lesnar, not yet.

Lesnar is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Rogers stands up from guard. Let's bang!

Lesnar tries to break the clinch but Rogers is controlling the position.
Rogers pushes Lesnar back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Lesnar fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Rogers manages to break the clinch.
Jorge Lesnar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lesnar shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Rogers but Rogers pushes him off and we're back to square one.

and Rogers counters with a shoot takedown. Lesnar fights it but they end up in guard.


Lesnar is rocked!

Rogers decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Rogers lands with a nice combination. Lesnar backs away looking to recover.
Lesnar is still on wobbly legs! Can Rogers finish him?
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Rogers lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and Lesnar falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Steve Rogers!
