Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Taka Tanaka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Itor Lamope (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lamope is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Bulletproof. Taka Tanaka has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lamope slaps away a takedown attempt from Tanaka, before circling back to the center of the mat.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Tanaka drops back looking for a leg! Lamope is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Lamope manages to kick Tanaka off! Tanaka jumps back into Lamope's guard.

Tanaka feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Lamope throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Tanaka throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Taka Tanaka will probably get the nod.
That's time! Tanaka's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Lamope stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Tanaka shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Lamope counters with a nice uppercut.
Tanaka misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
A jab from Lamope finds it's way through Tanaka's defenses.
Lamope tries to work over Tanaka's front leg with a kick but Tanaka checks it.

Tanaka uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Lamope.
