Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kung Nukem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Madmen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Kung Nukem has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Kung Nukem seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Shirou Masuda and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Nukem as Madmen shoots in.
Nukem misses with a takedown
and Madmen counters with a takedown into side control.
Madmen wants to control but Nukem is keeping him busy.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Madmen tries for a kimura but Nukem is defending well.
Nukem tries to escape but Madmen is in control.
Nukem tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Madmen tries to move to mount but Nukem blocks the move with his legs.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Nukem wants to get back to his feet but Madmen drags him back down.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
The fight stays on the outside here - Madmen looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Nukem thuds his shin into the meat of Madmen's side.

Nukem throws a head kick but Madmen moves out of range.
Nukem clinches with his opponent.
Nukem lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!

Madmen tries to score a body lock takedown but Nukem shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Nukem is pressed up against the cage. Madmen has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Nukem down to the mat. Nukem avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Kung Nukem has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tony Madmen.

Nukem tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Madmen throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Nukem.
Madmen circles away from the clinch attempt
and Madmen counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Madmen content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

Nukem is looking to improve his position.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Madmen lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Madmen looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Nukem with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Madmen escapes and gets back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Madmen throws a sloppy body shot
and Nukem counters with a head kick.
Tony Madmen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Madmen fails with a takedown attempt.
Madmen pushes Nukem up against the cage in a clinch.

The is referee keeping an eye on Nukem - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Nukem lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Nukem breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Nukem throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Madmen is breathing heavily.
Nukem misses with a series of wild punches.
Nukem throws a combination that misses
and Madmen decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Nukem's guard.

Madmen is pushing down on Nukem's leg trying to pass to half guard. Nukem is fighting to maintain full guard but Madmen has managed to sneak the leg through.
Madmen is looking to take a break and control but Nukem is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Nukem flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Nukem is looking to control Madmen's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Nukem avoid being mounted?
Madmen lands strikes from half guard.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Madmen tries to pass to full mount but Nukem defends it.
Nukem looks like he's trying to stand up.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.

Madmen is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Nukem's shoulder. That is not cool.

Madmen is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Nukem knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
You can see the frustration on Nukem's face as Madmen controls the position.
Madmen decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Nukem misses with a takedown attempt
and Madmen makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kung Nukem. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Madmen fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Nukem.

Madmen shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Nukem but Nukem pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Nukem throws a sloppy head kick
and Madmen counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Madmen with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Madmen passes Nukem's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Madmen seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Tony Madmen showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Madmen changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Nukem looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Nukem prevents Madmen from improving position.
Madmen is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Nukem is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Nukem is trying to control Madmen's posture but Madmen avoids it.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Nukem bucks up and tries to throw Madmen off but instead Madmen has got his back!

Nukem wants to get back to his feet.
Madmen is working the back position looking for the choke. Oh, he's slid into an armbar! Beautiful transition and Nukem taps out! Fantastic Jiu Jitsu from Madmen.
