Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Scott Thorpe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobby Hill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thorpe kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Limelight by Rush. Bobby Hill has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
13 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Bobby Hill!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Hill, right into the meat.
Hill connects with a crisp jab.
Thorpe shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Hill sprawls well. Hill wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Thorpe gets slowly back to his feet.
Thorpe misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Hill.
Hill throws a head kick that Thorpe semi-blocks.
It looks like Scott Thorpe has been cut.
Thorpe throws a leg kick but Hill sees it coming and moves out of range.
A slow jab from Hill misses its intended target.
Hill throws a sloppy head kick and Thorpe moves out of range easily.
Thorpe takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hill pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Thorpe takes a jab right on the kisser.
Hill thuds his right hand into Thorpe's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Hill throws a combination. Thorpe tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Hill ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Hill pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Hill cracks Thorpe with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Scott Thorpe's cut is getting worse.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hill plants his feet and throws a 3 punch combo. Miss, miss, boom! The third punch, a big right hook, connects right on the temple and drops Thorpe to the mat, unconscious! This fight is all over! Thorpe just couldn't keep out of the way of the whole flurry of punches!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:06 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Bobby Hill!
