Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Qusand Lewis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Juan Bastardo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bastardo fails to land with a series of punches.
Bastardo throws a sloppy head kick and Lewis moves out of range easily.

Bastardo darts in and clinches Lewis up against the cage.

Bastardo breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Lewis closes the distance and clinches up with Bastardo, looking for a takedown. Lewis pushes Bastardo against the cage but Bastardo circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

and Bastardo holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Bastardo throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Lewis blocks it with crossed arms.

Lewis drops down looking for an ankle pick but Bastardo pulls his leg out and moves away.

Lewis shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bastardo but Bastardo pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Lewis changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bastardo tries to avoid it but Lewis manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bastardo to the ground. Bastardo escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
