Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Joe Dirt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Larry Average (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Joe Dirt! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Larry Average! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Cecil Peabody and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dirt takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Decent striking displayed by Average there. The fight moves into the clinch position. Average prevents a takedown attempt there.
Average scores with a nice hook to the head. Average softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Average escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
A bone on bone clash there as Dirt blocks the leg kick.
The crowd cheers as Average lands an impressive looking overhand right. Dirt doesn't seem phased though. Dirt looks for a takedown but Average sprawls well. Dirt loads up on a big right hand but Average slips the punch. Average with a hook. Average misses with a low kick. Dirt on the wrong end of a nice jab. Nice shot lands for Average. Dirt walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Dirt fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Average avoids it really well and circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Joe Dirt. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Average lands with a hook. Dirt tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Average lands with a nice combination. Dirt backs away looking to recover. Average clinches with his opponent.
Average makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Average slowing the pace effectively. Dirt is trying to break free. Average stalling.
Dirt tries to break the clinch but Average is controlling the position. Average breaks from the clinch.
Average tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Dirt checks a low kick from Average. Average throws out a powerful jab. Average with a hook. Dirt fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Average connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Average paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. A decent looking cross lands there for Average. Dirt tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Average paws at him with a jab and circles away. Average with a nice cross. Average fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Average thuds his right hand into Dirt's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Dirt walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Dirt will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Average darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Dirt doesn't manage to clinch there - Average circles away.
A lazy left from Average finds it's target. Good standup being displayed there by Average as he connects with a hook. Dirt looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. Average lands the left hand.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Average tried to score with a low kick but Dirt checks it. Dirt throws a big shot that misses. Average throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Larry Average is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Nice defenses there by Average. Average stuffs the takedown attempt from Dirt. Dirt gets slowly back to his feet. Dirt avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Nice uppercut lands for Average. That snapped Dirt's head back.
Average lands a jab to the head.
Dirt fails with the takedown. Excellent takedown into side control there by Dirt. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Dirt is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Average is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Dirt is breathing heavily. Average is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Dirt asserts his dominance and retains side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Average tries to bench press Dirt off him but Dirt keeps the position. Dirt tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Average sneaks back into half guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Average makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Average. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Dirt is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Average pulls Dirt in close to prevent any damage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Larry Average dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Dirt tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Average swivels and escapes. Dirt with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Average to score with a decent uppercut. Average swats away the attempt to clinch by Dirt. Average misses with a series of wild punches.

Dirt takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Dirt takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Dirt manages to pull guard.
Average must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Average is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Larry Average hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Dirt jabs Average right on the nose. Average blinks but takes it well. Average looking to land some kicks to the body here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dirt shoots in but no luck this time. Nice uppercut lands for Average. That snapped Dirt's head back.
The fight stays on the outside here - Dirt looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Average catches Dirt with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Average stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Average wants it to stay on the feet. Dirt misses with an uppercut. Average saw that one coming. Average misses with a head kick.
Dirt throws a big shot that misses. Dirt takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Average lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Dirt fails to land with a series of punches.
Average lands with a nice body punch. Average pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Dirt back to the cage. Average follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. The crowd cheers as Average lands an impressive looking overhand right. Dirt doesn't seem phased though. Average scores with a punch to the head. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Average rushes Dirt and presses him up against the cage. A body shot lands from Average.
Dirt goes for a takedown attempt but Average pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Larry Average showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Average moves out of range of the strikes. Average throws a low kick but Dirt avoids it. A nice combination there by Average.
Average fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Dirt on the side of the head. Dirt tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Average swivels and escapes. Dirt moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Average lands a jab-cross combination. Average cracks Dirt with an open hand slap. Nice sprawl there from Average as Dirt shoots in. Average scores with a hook. Average clobbers Dirt with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Average keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Dirt. Dirt takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. A low kick from Average misses letting Dirt counter with a right hand. Average throws a leg kick but Dirt sees it coming and moves out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dirt tries for a takedown but Average sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Joe Dirt. That's going to take a lot out of him. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Average does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Dirt tries to clinch up. Average goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Average closes the distance and lands a one-two. Average has taken the fight to the clinch.
Dirt breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Dirt has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Average finds it's way round the side to connect with Dirt's head. Dirt needs to keep his hands up - Average had a free shot at his head there. Dirt walks into a straight right hand from Average. Dirt tries to clinch but Average is having none of it. Average throws a combination. Dirt tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Dirt ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Dirt walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Average uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Dirt tries to clinch up. Dirt showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Average.
Dirt is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Average misses with a leg kick. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Average lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Average swats away the attempt to clinch by Dirt. Dirt fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Average has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Average digs a good hook to Dirt's body.
Dirt wants to clinch up but Average keeps it at a distance. Average bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Dirt's head backwards. Average cracks Dirt with a good jab. Dirt drives through with a takedown into Average's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Average wants to sweep here but Dirt controlling him for the moment. Dirt thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Average throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Average controlling the position. Dirt drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Dirt jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Average seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Average looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Dirt puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Average is trying to maintain the position but Dirt is very close to passing his half guard. Average looks like he's trying to stand up.
Dirt is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Average trying to hold on to Dirt's head to control him but Dirt postures up.
Dirt is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Average sees it coming and defends easily. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Average is trying to stand back up but Dirt is controlling him
Average tries to get to full guard but Dirt has control of the leg. Dirt is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Average has one foot on Dirt's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Joe Dirt has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Larry Average is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. A jab from Dirt misses.
And that's the end of the fight! Larry Average comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Average winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
