Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Roman Martin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leonid Spartak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Leonid Spartak will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Roman Martin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 7 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Leonid Spartak!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Daniel Blasius and Saam Ante.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martin misses with a jab, cross combination.
Martin throws a series of punches but Spartak avoids them all with ease.
Martin looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Martin misses with a two punch combination.
Sloppy strikes from Martin. Those never looked like landing.
Spartak moves in looking to clinch but Martin pushes him off.
Spartak swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Martin misses with a jab, cross combination.

Spartak closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Spartak lands in his opponent's guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Martin is on top in guard.
Martin cracks Spartak with a solid left hand.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Martin stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Spartak swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Martin lands a couple of elbows.
Martin wants to control from the top but Spartak keeps moving.
Martin is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

Spartak looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Martin throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Spartak works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Martin lands a couple of digs.
Martin is in close to Spartak's body, working some short punches and elbows.

It looks like Leonid Spartak has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Martin passes Spartak's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Martin has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Martin looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Spartak with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Spartak is rocked!

Martin is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Spartak sees it coming and defends easily.
Martin working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Spartak is still in real trouble! Can Martin finish him?
Martin lands a big elbow - Spartak is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Martin!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Roman Martin!
A relieved looking Roman Martin thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
