And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Saam Ante and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Abernathy pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Abernathy moves away from the strike by Ross.
Ross scores with a body shot.
Ross throws a big shot that misses.
Ross connects with the punch.
It looks like Haymitch Abernathy has been cut.

Ross digs a right hand underneath Abernathy's ribcage. Abernathy let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Abernathy is breathing heavily.

Ross breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Abernathy uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Ross.

Ross moves into the clinch successfully.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Ross moves in close and cracks Abernathy with a massive right hand! Abernathy, frozen momentarily in time, tumbles to the canvas, already out cold! A brutal knockout by Ross!

After winning the bout, Nate Ross thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
