Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
21 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Bang Bang!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

20 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Joulu Pukki!
The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Paulo Santos and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bang lands a right hook to the body.
Bang throws a half hearted mid kick.
Bang misses with a head kick.
Bang moves out of range of the leg kick from Pukki.
Bang lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Pukki throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Bang was covering up waiting for the punch and Pukki finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Pukki not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Pukki's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Pukki trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Joulu Pukki has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Bang lands with a shot to the body.
Pukki throws a sloppy head kick and Bang moves out of range easily.
The crowd cheers as Pukki lands an impressive looking overhand right. Bang doesn't seem phased though.

Pukki throws a hook to the side of Bang's head but Bang sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Bang rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Pukki moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Bang pivots, looking for a leg kick but Pukki is out of range and Bang settles back down.
Bang swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Pukki misses with a hook.
Bang avoids the body shot from Pukki.
Pukki does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Pukki looks for a takedown but Bang sprawls well.

Pukki drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Pukki throws a big elbow that misses.
Pukki pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Bang is keeping the position for now.
Bang can't keep his opponent in guard - Pukki advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Pukki wants to control but Bang is keeping him busy.
Pukki is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Pukki wants to advance to full mount but Bang doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Joulu Pukki hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Pukki motions for Bang to come forward. Pukki throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Bang misses the jab.
Pukki wants to land a leg kick but Bang is out of range.
Pukki's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Pukki duly obliges.
Pukki throws a nice outside leg kick.
Bang throws a series of strikes that have Pukki backpedaling.
It looks like Joulu Pukki has been cut.
Bang swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Joulu Pukki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Pukki fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Bang to the ground. Pukki is now in Bang's guard.
Pukki working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Pukki passes Bang's left leg - he's now in half guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Pukki throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Pukki is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Bang lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Bang connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Pukki misses with a series of wild punches.
Bang is looking to chop away at Pukki's legs.
Bang blocks the body kick.
Pukki closes the distance and clinches up with Bang, looking for a takedown. Pukki pushes Bang against the cage but Bang circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Pukki fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Bang checks it well.
Joulu Pukki is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Pukki tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Pukki will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Bang avoids the head kick by Pukki.
Bang looks to score with a jab to the body but Pukki is just out of range.
Pukki shoots in but Bang avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Bang Bang has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joulu Pukki.
Bang misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Pukki tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Bang swings for the body but Pukki moves out of range.
Bang tests Pukki's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Pukki misses with a low kick as Bang jumps back.
Bang has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Pukki.
Pukki tries to clinch but Bang is having none of it.
Bang lands with an uppercut that bounces Pukki off the cage and back into range.
Pukki moves out of range of the body kick from Bang.
Pukki throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bang's waist but Bang gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Pukki off to one side.
Bang scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Bang misses the shot to the body.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Pukki.
Pukki looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Bang is fending him off so far but Pukki persists. Nope, Bang circles away and we're back to standing.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Pukki shoots in looking for a takedown. Bang tries to sprawl out of it but Pukki keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bang manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Bang Bang is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Pukki lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Bang has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Bang and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Bang misses with an uppercut. Pukki saw that one coming.
Pukki avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Bang swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Bang fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Pukki.

Bang Bang is winning the standup battle so far.
Pukki uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Bang.
Pukki shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bang but Bang pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Pukki lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Bang stalks Pukki and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Pukki's face. Pukki staggers backwards, shaken.

The fighters circle momentarily. Bang darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Bang looks to land a combination but Pukki avoids it well.
Pukki ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Bang throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Pukki sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Pukki is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Pukki shoots for a double leg takedown but Bang sprawls well. He's pushed Pukki's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Pukki moves away from the strike by Bang.
Pukki fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Bang Bang has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joulu Pukki.
Pukki will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

I would just about give that final round to Joulu Pukki.
