Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Andre Barnes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Professor Chaos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Barnes comes to the cage accompanied by Black Eyed Peas - Imma Be. Chaos comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Chaos kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Andre Barnes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Professor Chaos !
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Steve Erwin and Winston Howard.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Barnes lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Chaos has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Chaos and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
No luck for Chaos with that takedown attempt.

Chaos feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Barnes pulls Chaos in close to prevent any damage.
Chaos is in close to Barnes's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Chaos seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Chaos throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Chaos moves nicely into side control.
Barnes is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Chaos works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.

Barnes is not content to let Chaos control the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Professor Chaos dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Chaos takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Barnes cracks a nice hook into Chaos 's ribs.
Chaos throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Chaos fails with the takedown.
Chaos shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Barnes but Barnes pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Nice sprawl there from Barnes as Chaos shoots in.
Andre Barnes has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Professor Chaos .

Chaos looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Barnes is fending him off so far but Chaos persists. Nope, Barnes circles away and we're back to standing.

Chaos shoots for a double leg takedown but Barnes sprawls well. He's pushed Chaos 's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Chaos throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Barnes's waist but Barnes gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Chaos off to one side.
Barnes stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Chaos .
Barnes misses with an uppercut.
Chaos shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Barnes but Barnes pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Chaos uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Barnes.

Barnes tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Chaos was well out of range. Poor timing from Barnes.

Barnes swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Chaos .
Chaos shoots in for a takedown but Barnes shows good takedown defense.
Chaos dives in and grabs Barnes's left leg, looking for a takedown. Barnes pushes down on Chaos 's head and hops out.

Chaos tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Barnes swivels and escapes.
Chaos is breathing heavily.

Chaos throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Barnes was covering up waiting for the punch and Chaos finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Barnes is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Chaos is on the wrong end of a couple of strikes there.

Barnes is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Barnes wants to free his trapped foot but Chaos is holding on for dear life with his legs.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Barnes connects with a nice short shot to Chaos 's temple.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Barnes is trying to buck Chaos off.

Chaos tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Chaos has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Chaos goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Barnes has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Chaos but great work by Barnes.

And that's the end of the fight!
Professor Chaos comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Chaos has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
