Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between James Fountain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Up Yours (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Up Yours was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yours closes this distance looking for a takedown but Fountain circles away.
Yours tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Fountain walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Yours checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Yours will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Yours fails to land with a series of punches.
Up Yours seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Fountain lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Fountain lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Fountain throws a shot from downtown. Yours moves away and avoids it.

and Yours counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Yours drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Yours jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Yours stands and steps away. Fountain gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Yours shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Fountain misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Yours.

Fountain scores with the left hand. Yours knows he should have avoided that one.
Yours throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Fountain's waist but Fountain gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Yours off to one side.

Yours takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Fountain rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Yours moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Fountain connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Yours's hands.

Fountain catches Yours with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Yours thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Fountain if he has to take too many more of those.

and Yours counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Fountain is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Yours needs to keep his hands up - Fountain had a free shot at his head there.
Yours tries to close the distance and clinch up but Fountain swats him away and circles back towards the center.

and Yours counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Fountain!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Fountain is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Yours is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Fountain has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Yours wants to finish this one by submission but Fountain is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Yours.
Yours is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Fountain to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Fountain shrugs it off.
Fountain is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Yours locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Fountain is forced to tap!
