Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dawnkee Nuts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Krill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Krill has chosen Cole World as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Dawnkee Nuts has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dawnkee Nuts! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jay Krill! The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Summer Carpenter and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Krill lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Nuts circles away quickly and effectively. Nuts has a takedown stuffed. Nuts tries for a takedown but Krill sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Krill. Nuts moves to clinch but Krill breaks away and Krill counters with a single leg into guard. Nuts didn't expect that. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Krill working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Krill stands and throws Nuts's legs to the side, diving into side control. Krill really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Nuts. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Nuts avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Krill. Krill throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Krill laying and praying for a moment but Nuts takes advantage and regains half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Krill prevents Nuts from improving his position. Nuts moves into full guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Nuts is on top in guard.
Nuts with a flurry of punches that miss.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Krill kicks Nuts off and gets to his feet. Nuts has his takedown stuffed and Krill counters with a nice double leg into side control. Nuts won't be happy with that. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dawnkee Nuts. That's going to take a lot out of him. Nuts is breathing heavily. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Krill working the ground and pound but Nuts is defending the strikes. Krill in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Krill working the head and body with strikes. Krill scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Nuts to see if he's OK. Krill tries to move to mount but Nuts blocks the move with his legs. Krill in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Krill working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Nuts takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Krill cracks Nuts with a big right hand but Nuts just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Krill trying to control the position but Nuts is working away. Krill working the ground and pound but Nuts is defending the strikes. Krill throws a strike aimed at the side of Nuts's head but Nuts avoids it well. Krill is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Nuts knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Nuts trying to remain calm as Krill controls from the top position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Krill fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Krill creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Nuts sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Nuts takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Krill in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Nuts is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Jay Krill! Our winner, Jay Krill, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
