The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kaufmore shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Kaufmore moves to clinch but Fury breaks away and Fury holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Fury stalling against the cage.
The crowd are getting on Fury's back here. They're not happy about his lack of aggression in the clinch. Fury pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. Fury working aggressively here.
Kaufmore is trying to pull guard but Fury turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Fury avoiding damage.
Kaufmore tries to break free but Fury pushes him back against the cage. Kaufmore tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Flint Fury. Kaufmore fails with the takedown and Fury holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Kaufmore has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Fury uses from the top position. Kaufmore is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Kaufmore looking to control.
