Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Agung Kang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rik Spahn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Spahn comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Slap my elbow kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Agung Kang! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rik Spahn! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Tiny Johnson and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Spahn gets in close and instigates a clinch. Spahn is trying to pull guard but Kang has him pressed against the cage. Kang blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Spahn jumps guard.
Spahn looking for a sweep. Not yet Spahn, not yet. Kang tries to stand but Spahn is controlling from the bottom. Spahn escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kang gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Spahn has a closed guard, preventing Kang from standing up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Spahn is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Kang stands and steps away. Spahn gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Spahn throws a series of punches but Kang moves out of range. Kang moves into the clinch. Spahn is pushing Kang up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Spahn tries to score a body lock takedown but Kang shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Spahn drags the fight down to the ground.
Spahn is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Spahn trying to keep a closed guard but Kang is proving a slippery customer.
Kang will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Kang wants to stand and escape but instead Spahn has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Spahn throws a strike but Kang rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kang has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Spahn is proving hard to escape from. Spahn is working an open guard so Kang takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Spahn will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Kang gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Spahn to score an easy takedown into full guard. Spahn sitting in guard, not really doing much.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kang keeping moving, preventing Spahn from controlling successfully. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Spahn looking to sit in guard and control but Kang gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Kang wants to stand but Spahn is controlling his posture from full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rik Spahn dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Spahn has managed to clinch.
Spahn misses with a short punch on the inside. Spahn fails to pull the fight into his guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Spahn softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Spahn looking to slow down the pace here. Spahn tries to break the clinch but Kang is controlling the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kang ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Kang no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Spahn looking to sit in guard and control but Kang gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Kang decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Spahn tries to bum rush Kang with a series of wild strikes but Kang uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Spahn fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Kang sprawls well initially but Spahn persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Spahn misses with a head shot. Kang uses the momentum to regain guard. Spahn postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Kang keeping moving, preventing Spahn from controlling successfully. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Spahn advances to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Spahn wants to control but Kang is keeping him busy. Spahn stops Kang from getting back to his feet.

Rik Spahn has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Kang slips a jab and a cross from Spahn.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kang throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Spahn drives through and clinches with Kang against the cage.
The referee is keeping an eye on Spahn - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Kang has picked Spahn up - he's going for a ride! Kang dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Kang escapes and gets back to his feet. Spahn misses with a two punch combination.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rik Spahn showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Kang shoots in and bounces Spahn off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Spahn wriggles free and stands up. Spahn gets a clinch. Kang blocks a body shot from Spahn.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kang avoids a wild elbow strike from Spahn. Spahn jumps into guard, dragging Kang to the mat.
Kang wants to get up but he can't break Spahn's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Rik Spahn has got the better of the ground game so far. Kang gets to his feet - Spahn follows without any prompting. Spahn has closed the distance and engaged Kang in a clinch.
Kang tightens his grip and picks Spahn up, before dumping him to the ground. Spahn manages to land in guard. Spahn tries to land a sweep but no joy. Spahn looking to control.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Spahn seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Kang wanted to stand there but Spahn had control of the position. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
OK we're going to have a standup here. Rik Spahn hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Kang takes the fight into the clinch. Kang is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Spahn is keeping busy.

Rik Spahn is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Kang gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Kang decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Spahn, up you get! Kang forces Spahn back against the cage and clinches. Spahn jumps into guard, dragging Kang to the mat.
