PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kamil Korczewski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mihailescu Razvan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Razvan's choice of entrance music: Niggas in Paris. Kamil Korczewski has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mihailescu Razvan!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Frank Dennis and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Razvan shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Korczewski pinned against the cage. Korczewski gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Korczewski misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Razvan gets a double leg takedown into Korczewski's guard.

Razvan gets to his feet - Korczewski follows without any prompting.

Razvan gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Razvan gets control of Korczewski's arms and successfully pulls guard. Razvan will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Razvan is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

Razvan has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Korczewski clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Razvan looking to break Korczewski's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Korczewski remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Razvan will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.

Korczewski is trying to get back to his feet but Razvan has full control of the position and if anything, Korczewski has just worked his way into a worse spot.

Mihailescu Razvan dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Razvan is trying hard to land a takedown here. Korczewski sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Razvan throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Korczewski was covering up waiting for the punch and Razvan finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Korczewski might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Razvan is working Korczewski over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Razvan is taking a breather. Korczewski says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Razvan is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Razvan fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Korczewski wants to get back to his feet.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Mihailescu Razvan showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!


Razvan takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Korczewski connects with a crisp jab.

Korczewski throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Razvan closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Korczewski did well to prevent Razvan getting side control.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Razvan postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Korczewski looks a forlorn figure.
Korczewski is bucking up trying to escape but Razvan cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Razvan moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Korczewski has worked his arm free - good work by Korczewski!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Check out the look on Razvan's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Razvan has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Korczewski connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Razvan's hands.

Razvan shoots in but Korczewski avoids the takedown attempt easily.

And that's the end of the fight!
Mihailescu Razvan comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Razvan winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
