The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Pit enables Bato to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Pit manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Bato trying to control the position from guard on top but Pit is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Pit has his foot on Bato's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bato works his way back into a safe position though.
Pit looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Pit on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Pit tries to get out of the position.

Pit is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Bato defends well.

Pit pushes a forearm under Bato's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Bato is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
