Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jamie Reyes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Apollo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Reyes comes to the cage accompanied by Black and Yellow - Wiz Khalifa. Jamie Reyes is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Apollo throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Reyes was covering up waiting for the punch and Apollo finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Apollo tries to free his leg and advance position but Reyes is retaining full guard.
Apollo wants to control from the top but Reyes keeps moving.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Apollo in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Apollo must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Apollo trying to control but Reyes is working from the bottom.

Apollo wants to take a breather but Reyes manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Apollo.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Apollo won't allow Reyes to sweep him here.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Ryan Apollo wasn't active enough on the ground.
Apollo throws a push kick but Reyes slaps the foot to one side.
A looping hook to the body misses from Apollo. Reyes does a little dance to reset his feet.

Apollo pushes off an throws an elbow but Reyes leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

Reyes breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Reyes moves away from the strike by Apollo.
Apollo moves in looking to clinch but Reyes pushes him off.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Apollo is defended easily by Reyes.

Apollo ducks right into an uppercut from Reyes.
Apollo loads up on a big right hand but Reyes slips the punch.

Apollo shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Reyes as he jumps to the side.

Apollo looks to land a body kick but Reyes moved away.

Apollo blocks the body kick.
Apollo takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Reyes misses with a body shot.
A head kick by Apollo misses
enabling Reyes to counter with a crisp jab.
Apollo throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Reyes fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Apollo takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Apollo tries a head kick but it misses.
Reyes goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Reyes throws a wild body kick that Apollo sees coming a mile off.
Apollo misses with an uppercut.

Reyes throws a leg kick
and Apollo counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Reyes gets tackled into the cage by Apollo. Apollo maintains the clinch.
Apollo swings wildly with an uppercut but Reyes uses good head movement to avoid it.
Reyes using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Apollo has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Apollo blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Reyes lands a right hand.
Reyes avoids a wild elbow strike from Apollo.
A nice left hand lands by Reyes.
Reyes breaks the clinch.
Apollo ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

Reyes connects with a nice looking jab.
Apollo shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Reyes as he jumps to the side.

Apollo lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Reyes gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Apollo.
Some bone on bone action there as Reyes checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Reyes throws an overhand right that drops Apollo like a sack of potatoes! Reyes dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!

Jamie Reyes opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
