Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Tyler Wade!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Cody Lightle!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Chris Saunders and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wade connects with a high kick.
It looks like Cody Lightle has been cut.
Wade tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Lightle misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Wade tries a head kick but it misses.
Wade tries to close the distance and clinch up but Lightle swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Lightle with a lazy takedown attempt
and Wade counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Lightle is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Wade jumps guard but Lightle stands there with Wade around his waist. Wade gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Wade thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Lightle is looking for a triangle but Wade pushes his legs off easily.

Lightle really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Wade. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Wade drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Lightle manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Wade has Lightle in his guard.
Lightle must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Wade kicks Lightle off and gets to his feet.

Wade tries to clinch but Lightle is having none of it.

and Lightle counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Lightle.
Wade is trying to maintain a safe position but Lightle gets an underhook and turns Wade into the cage.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Wade.
Lightle jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Wade walks away with a smile on his face. Lightle gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Lightle lands a nice hook to Wade's body. Wade takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Wade tries to clinch but Lightle is having none of it.

Lightle throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Wade.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Tyler Wade.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Wade, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
