The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rousseau throws a left and a right that both miss
and Svensson counters with a one-two to the body.
Svensson darts in trying to clinch
and Rousseau connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Svensson shoots in looking for a takedown. Rousseau tries to sprawl out of it but Svensson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Rousseau manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Rousseau's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Rousseau duly obliges.
Rousseau lands with a good body shot.
Svensson tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Rousseau counters with a straight right hand.
Svensson fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Rousseau avoids it really well and circles away.
Rousseau feints a jab promting Svensson to slip. Rousseau then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Svensson slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Rousseau lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Rousseau throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Svensson stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Rousseau isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Svensson stacks Rousseau on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Svensson!

Svensson is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Rousseau has escaped the position, nice work there.

I would just about give that final round to Alexander Svensson.
