Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between George Droop (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hoyt Jurgensen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jurgensen comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Peter, Paul & Mary - If I Had A Hammer kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Hoyt Jurgensen was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Russell Pearce and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jurgensen fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jurgensen pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Droop back to the cage. Jurgensen follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Droop is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

That was a close second round but I would say that George Droop will probably get the nod.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to George Droop.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Droop, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
