Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dalton McKay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dec Dogg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dalton McKay! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dec Dogg! The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, John Kavanagh and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McKay will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Dogg attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Dogg fails with a takedown attempt. Dogg keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Dogg has closed the distance and engaged McKay in a clinch.
McKay jumps into guard, dragging Dogg to the mat.
McKay is working an open guard so Dogg takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Dogg is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in McKay's half guard. Dogg wants to work for an arm triangle but McKay is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dogg tries to stand but his arm is trapped. Dogg passes to side control. McKay tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Dogg wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. McKay gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. McKay looking for submissions from an awkward position here. McKay is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Dogg pulls his head out easily. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dogg is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and McKay defends it well. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Dogg stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. McKay tries to clinch up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dogg dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Dogg bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps McKay's head backwards. McKay has his takedown stuffed and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dalton McKay. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Dogg darts in and clinches McKay up against the cage. McKay is looking to take this one to the mat. Dogg breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
McKay tries to clinch there but Dogg circles away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McKay with a lazy takedown attempt and Dogg counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. McKay tries for a takedown but Dogg circles away easily and Dogg counters with a straight right hand. McKay changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Dogg tries to avoid it but McKay manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Dogg to the ground. Dogg escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. McKay is breathing heavily. McKay gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Dogg counters with a nice double leg into guard. Dogg passes McKay's left leg - he's now in half guard. Dogg is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Dogg decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. McKay has a takedown stuffed. McKay gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Dogg counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Dogg trying to control but McKay is working from the bottom. Dogg wants to pass the guard but McKay is keeping the position. McKay is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Dogg drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Dogg as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! McKay screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Dogg! Nice submission victory there!
