York comes to the cage accompanied by British Grenadiers Song. Monster has chosen Cookie Monster Eating Cookie as his entrance music. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Monster misses with a wild body shot.
Some bone on bone action there as York checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Monster with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
York throws a big shot that misses.
Monster takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
It looks like Cookie Monster has been cut.
York blocks the body kick.
York misses with a wild body shot.
Monster tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and York is able to avoid easily.
York ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Monster moves away.
Monster throws an uppercut from half a mile away. York sees it coming and avoids it easily.
York scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
York misses the shot to the body.
York throws a body punch but Monster moves out of range.
York just misses with a punch to the body.
York steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Monster.
York misses with a wild body shot.
Monster throws a head kick but York moves out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round.
York fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Monster looks winded!
York fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Monster checks it well.
York lands a big right hand that sends Monster crashing to the mat! York stays standing though and waves Monster back to his feet!
Monster is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Monster leaves his chin hanging out and York seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Monster crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
