The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kepe Eses misses with a hook. Laine ducked under it nicely.
Laine goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Kepe Eses on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Kepe Eses takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Kepe Eses is breathing heavily.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Laine wants to stand up but Kepe Eses is controlling him.
Kepe Eses will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Kepe Eses stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Laine swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Laine seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

A slow jab from Laine misses its intended target.

Kepe Eses takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Laine throws a leg kick but Kepe Eses checks it.
Viljo Laine is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Laine dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Laine, right into the meat.
Laine throws a pinpoint strike between Kepe Eses's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Kepe Eses crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Laine scores a great knockout victory!
