The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yabo throws a series of punches but St Preux avoids them all with ease.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Yabo enables St Preux to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Yabo manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

St Preux passes Yabo's left leg - he's now in half guard.
St Preux uses his free foot to push down on Yabo's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Yabo.
St Preux seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Yabo is holding on tight.

St Preux is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! St Preux extends the arm and Yabo is forced to tap!
