Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Bob Thedore!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Shigeki Fujiwara and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Thedore with that takedown attempt.
Shura shoots in and drives through. Thedore sprawls well.
Shura throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Thedore tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Shura is in Thedore's guard.
Thedore tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Thedore is looking to stand up but Shura isn't so interested in that idea.
Shura stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Thedore swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Shura controlling from the top position.
Shura advances position into side control!
Thedore trying to control but Shura flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back!
Thedore tries to escape the position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Shura is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish.
Shura is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Thedore has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Shura has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Thedore taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Shura doesn't care though - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Yaga Shura!
