Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Will Leander (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dalton Austin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Will Leander! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dalton Austin! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Steve Smith and Gregory Folan.

Austin tries for a takedown but Leander circles away easily and Leander counters with a two punch combo. Leander looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Leander stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Leander wants it to stay on the feet. Austin has a takedown stuffed. Will Leander has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dalton Austin. Leander lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Austin misses with a takedown
and Leander counters with a shoot takedown. Austin fights it but they end up in guard. Leander trying to stand up but can't free himself from Austin's guard.
Leander gets to his feet. Austin looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

and Leander counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Leander could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Leander's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Austin misses with a takedown
and Leander counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Austin is looking to control Leander's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Austin avoid being mounted? Leander is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Leander seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Austin for as long as he can get away with. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

and Austin counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Austin won't allow Leander to get back to his feet. Austin trying to control the position from guard on top but Leander is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Will Leander dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Austin looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Austin changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Leander tries to avoid it but Austin manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Leander to the ground. Leander escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Austin has his takedown stuffed and Leander counters with a nice low kick that buckles Austin's knee momentarily. Will Leander has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dalton Austin.
Austin scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Leander is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Austin's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Leander is not content to let Austin control the position. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Austin looking to sit in guard and control but Leander gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Leander cracks Austin with a solid left hand.

Austin fails with the takedown and Leander counters with a three punch combo that has Austin backing up. Austin nods at Leander to acknowledge the strikes. Austin gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Leander counters by moving into the clinch. Austin goes for a takedown in the clinch but Leander prevents it.

Leander shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Austin manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Austin tries to land a sweep but no joy. Leander would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Leander decides to stand back up. Leander steps back and let's Austin get back to his feet. A punch combination from Leander misses. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Austin looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Leander is fending him off so far but Austin persists. Nope, Leander circles away and we're back to standing. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Will Leander dominated that second round. That's time! Back to the action! And we move into the final round!
Leander lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Leander. Austin uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Leander. Austin shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Leander sprawls well. Leander wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Austin gets slowly back to his feet. Austin shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Leander counters with a three punch combo that has Austin backing up. Austin nods at Leander to acknowledge the strikes. Austin with a lazy takedown attempt and Leander counters with a straight right hand. Will Leander has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dalton Austin. Austin misses with a takedown and Leander counters with a series of strikes. Austin will be more careful next time no doubt. Austin fails with the takedown. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Leander lands with an overhand left.

and Austin counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Austin won't allow Leander to sweep him here. Austin chips away with some ground and pound. Leander is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Leander has his feet on Austin's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Austin shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Leander counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

Dalton Austin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Austin shoots and misses

Leander decides to stand up. Leander looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Austin is fending him off so far but Leander persists. Nope, Austin circles away and we're back to standing. Will Leander is winning the standup battle so far. Austin with a poor takedown and Leander counters with a nice uppercut.
Leander drives through and clinches with Austin against the cage.

The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Austin is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Leander is defending well. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Austin is looking to take this one to the mat.
Leander breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
And that's the end of the fight! Will Leander showed his dominance in that final round. Well Leander has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
