7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Daniel Mozee! The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Daniel Cesar and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kurosaki checks a low kick from Mozee. Excellent takedown into side control there by Kurosaki. Kurosaki is putting a hurting on Mozee here, landing some big shots from side control. Mozee avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Kurosaki. Kurosaki sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Mozee is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Kurosaki prevents Mozee from escaping the position. Mozee is working to avoid the ground and pound but Kurosaki connects with a decent elbow. Kurosaki has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Mozee takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Kurosaki connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Mozee some visible discomfort.

A big right from Mozee misses. Kurosaki shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Mozee sprawls well. Mozee wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Kurosaki gets slowly back to his feet. Kurosaki shoots in and bounces Mozee off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Kyo Kurosaki overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Kurosaki distracts Mozee with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Kurosaki missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Mozee wants to stand and escape but Kurosaki is having none of it. Kurosaki landing some decent shots from guard. That's one minute gone in the round. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Kurosaki's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Kurosaki controlling from the top position. Mozee working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Kurosaki. Kurosaki is looking to work some ground and pound but Mozee has wrist control. Kurosaki throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Mozee works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Kurosaki showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kurosaki's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Mozee really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kurosaki. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Kurosaki trying to control but Mozee is working from the bottom.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Kyo Kurosaki just wasn't active enough. Kurosaki jabs Mozee to the body, keeping him at a distance. Mozee looks to throw the jab but Kurosaki is out of range. Nice uppercut lands for Kurosaki. That snapped Mozee's head back.
Kyo Kurosaki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kurosaki scores with a sloppy right hand. Mozee should have avoided that one. Mozee defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Kurosaki. Kurosaki lands with an uppercut that bounces Mozee off the cage and back into range. Good shot there by Kurosaki. Kurosaki is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Mozee can do to turn this around? A punch combination from Mozee misses. Kurosaki misses with a body shot.
Mozee gets caught napping as Kurosaki dives in and scores a takedown. Mozee manages to retain guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kurosaki working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kurosaki accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Mozee avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Kurosaki throws a right hand that Mozee ducks under and follows up with a left that Mozee also avoids with ease. Kurosaki uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Mozee. Kurosaki lands a right hook to the body.
Mozee moves forwards but Kurosaki connects with a nice, crisp jab. Kurosaki misses the shot to the body. Kurosaki gets a takedown into half guard. Kurosaki drops an elbow to the side of Mozee's head. Kurosaki tries to pass to full mount but Mozee defends it. Kurosaki missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kurosaki looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Kurosaki not landing any meaningful shots this time. Kurosaki thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Kurosaki throwing shots but Mozee is blocking nicely. Ground and pound from Kurosaki. Kurosaki working over Mozee with some ground and pound. Mozee looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Kurosaki working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Kurosaki sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Mozee defending well though. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Kurosaki trying to control the action but Mozee is working from the bottom. Mozee scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Kurosaki manages to mount him!
Mozee takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Kurosaki has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Mozee's face.
Mozee is rocked! Kurosaki loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Mozee scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Kurosaki land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Kurosaki stands and salutes the crowd.
