Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jon Jones! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Rocky Olzzen! The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Donatello Bradman and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Olzzen tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Olzzen tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Jones paws at him with a jab and circles away. Jones fails to land the takedown. Jones circles away from the clinch attempt and Jones counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Olzzen's guard now. Olzzen is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Jones is aware though and is defending well. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Jones is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Jones looking to sit in guard and control but Olzzen gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Olzzen wants to stand but Jones is controlling his posture from full guard. Olzzen trying to control the position from guard on top but Jones is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's one minute gone in the round. Olzzen wants to stand but Jones is controlling his posture from full guard. Jones is trying to control the position but Olzzen postures up. Jones keeping moving, preventing Olzzen from controlling successfully. Jones not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Jon Jones. Jones has managed to clinch.
Jones escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Olzzen fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Jones. Olzzen tries to grapple but his opponent circles so Jones counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Jones slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Olzzen is trying to keep Jones in close.
Jones wants to pass the guard but Olzzen is keeping the position. Olzzen is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Jones is controlling him. Jones looking to pass the guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Olzzen is trying to keep Jones in close.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Rocky Olzzen hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Jones pushes Olzzen up against the cage in a clinch. Jones is pressed up against the cage. Olzzen has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Jones down to the mat. Jones avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Olzzen tries to keep at a distance but Jones has taken the fight into the clinch. Olzzen prevents a takedown attempt there.
Jones jumps guard but Olzzen turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jon Jones. That's going to take a lot out of him. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Olzzen misses with the head strike.
Jones has Olzzen pressed against the cage, preventing Olzzen from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Olzzen tries a knee to the head but Jones blocks it.
Jones is trying to pull guard but Olzzen has him pressed against the cage. Jones breaks from the clinch.
Jones shoots in but Olzzen avoids the takedown attempt easily. Jones shoots in looking for a takedown but Olzzen manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Jones's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Olzzen rushes Jones and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. A frustrated look appears on Olzzen's face as he tries to break the clinch. Jones manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Jon Jones will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Jones is defended easily by Olzzen. Olzzen fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Olzzen moves out of range of the strikes. Olzzen is looking to clinch. Jones buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Jones fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Olzzen, pushing him back against the cage. Jones fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Jones escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Olzzen takes a swing at Jones's ribcage but misses. Jones fails with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jon Jones. That's going to take a lot out of him. Olzzen stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Jones.
That's one minute gone in the round. Olzzen tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Jones manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Olzzen shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Jones defends it nicely. Jones throws a right and a left that both miss. Jones moves into the clinch successfully.
Jones pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Olzzen shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Jones as he jumps to the side. Olzzen is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Olzzen wants to clinch up but Jones keeps it at a distance. Olzzen misses with a kick to the body and Jones counters with a big head kick but Olzzen shrugs it off.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones has a takedown stuffed. Jones closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Jones looking for a takedown. Olzzen tries to land knees in the clinch but Jones avoids the damage to the body. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Jones jumps guard but Olzzen turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Jones misses with a hook from the clinch. Jones tries to pull guard but Olzzen holds him up against the cage and eventually Jones drops back down to his feet.
Jones is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Jones breaks the clinch.
Jones avoids the head kick by Olzzen.
Jones goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Rocky Olzzen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Olzzen tries to avoid it but Jones manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Olzzen to the ground. Olzzen escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Jones looks for the body kick but Olzzen saw that one coming. Olzzen stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Olzzen wants it to stay on the feet. Jones misses with a wild combination.
Olzzen ducks under a wild hook from Jones. Olzzen tries to clinch but Jones is having none of it. Jones fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Jones drives through and clinches with Olzzen against the cage.
Olzzen trying to control the position but instead, Jones has worked for underhooks and has pushed Olzzen into the cage. Olzzen blocks a punch to the side of the head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Olzzen is pressed up against the cage. Jones has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Olzzen down to the mat. Olzzen avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Jones. Olzzen tries to clinch up but Jones circles away and keeps his distance. Olzzen tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Jones counters with a takedown into side control. This has been an exciting period of action! Olzzen manages to get back to half guard. Olzzen wants to get back to his feet.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Jones trying to pass the guard but Olzzen defending well. Olzzen looks like he's trying to stand up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jon Jones dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Olzzen is rocked! A big strike lands for Jones! That's really hurt Olzzen and he's turned his back - Jones keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Jones jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
